Thermal Pro employs a diverse variety of knitting techniques that create unique surface structures for the look and feel of a classic fleece. Garments made from Thermal Pro will bear many of the hallmarks of your favourite fleece but at a much lighter carry weight, making these more practical when packing for long range expeditions.

Clarino produces the finest man made leather for both fashion and technical applications. Its secret? A non woven fabric consisting of ultra-fine fibres impregnated with polyurethane for superior strength and a supple hand feel.

TekWax

With six generations of textile innovation behind it British Millerain is not just the original, but the global leader in waxed cotton. Lancashire born, the company produced its first patented rainproof finish in 1894. After more than a century of refinement, research and redevelopment, British Millerain’s TekWax cotton comes to ThruDark. The reason waxed cotton works so well as a spray resistant barrier is that its hollow fibres are able to be filled up with, and hold onto, wax, rendering the fibres watertight. However, its ultra-dry finish sets British Millerain’s TekWax cotton apart.
